(OTTAWA, ON) July 18, 2008 - The Ottawa Rapidz, you've got every reason to go especially with the exciting upcoming promotions at Rapidz Stadium.

Tuesday, July 22, the Rapidz honour the men and women who risk their lives to protect and save ours, with "Guns ‘N Hoses", a tribute to local police, firefighters and paramedics. This is a great opportunity for fans to thank the people who make our community safer.

Don't miss one of Eastern Ontario's favourite bands, Ambush, in concert on Wednesday, July 23. Admission to the post-game concert in the picnic area is free with your game day ticket.

Wear red on Friday, July 25 to show your support for Canada's military and come to our "Support Our Troops" night. A large Canadian flag will be available to sign so fans can show their support to our troops, deployed around the world.

Saturday, July 26, don't miss your chance to win a trip to Quebec City to see the Rapidz play courtesy of CAA North & East Ontario! Stop by one of the CAA booths on the concourse to enter to win a two night, three day trip for 2 adults and 2 children including travel on VIA Rail, hotel accommodation for two nights, a Hertz rental car for two days and tickets to see the Rapidz take on the Quebec Capitales on August 15th and 16th.

Dogs, bring your owners to the game on Sunday, July 27 for "B.A.R.K. in the Ballpark." Sponsored by Bark & Fitz the event features a free doggie bag to the first 300 dogs in the stadium, on field fly-ball demonstrations and a parade of dogs available for adoption from B.A.R.K. Kids, don't miss out on the opportunity to get your picture taken with Duke the Dane!

Every home game features a different All-You-Can-Eat specialty menu item in our picnic area. Wristbands are only $10 and the picnic area is perfect for families and groups to the Stadium.
