ICE CHIPS: Left Wing - Brett MacLean

San Antonio left wing Brett MacLean has been on a Rampage of late, tallying nine points (five goals, four assists) in his last seven games, helping the Rampage to a 5-1-0-1 record during that span. MacLean is currently on a seven-game point streak.

The London, ONT native now leads the Rampage in points (26) with 16 goals and 10 assists in 33 games played.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Wednesday, Jan. 6 @ Grand Rapids Griffins

Van Andel Arena, 6 p.m.

The Rampage will travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan to take on the Griffins for the second time this season. San Antonio is 3-1-0-0 against Grand Rapids in 2009-10, surrendering their only loss to the Griffins at Van Andel Arena on December 9.

Thursday, Jan. 7 @ Milwaukee Admirals

Bradley Center, 7 p.m.

The Rampage will head to the Bradley Center in Milwaukee on Thursday to take on the Admirals in a West Division matchup. San Antonio has been defeated twice in their first two trips to Milwaukee, losing 4-2 on December 11 and 4-3 on December 20.

Saturday, Jan. 9 vs. Rockford IceHogs

AT&T Center, 7 p.m.

The Rampage will host the Rockford IceHogs for the first time in 2009-10 on Saturday. San Antonio is 1-1-0-0 this season against Rockford and 2-3-0-0 all-time against the Ice Hogs at the AT&T Center.

UPCOMING PROMOTIONS

SLED HOCKEY TOURNAMENT: This weekend the Rampage Sled Hockey Team will host their first Midwest Sled Hockey Tournament which in- cludes teams from Minnesota, Chicago and St. Louis. The tournament starts Friday at Northwoods and runs through Sunday in which two games will be held at the AT&T Center on Nov. 9 prior to the Rampage game.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT 09-10

HEY NOW, YOU'RE AN ALL-STAR: Rampage defenseman Sean Sullivan has been selected to the 2010 AHL PlanetUSA All-Star Team, making him the fourth blueliner in franchise history to play in the mid-season classic.

POWERFUL PLAY: In their last eight games, 11 of San Antonio's 19 goals have been power-play goals, helping the Rampage to a fourth place ranking (20.0%) among all AHL clubs on the man-advantage.

POTENT PENALTY KILL: The Rampage have only allowed two power-play goals in their last eight games and are presently ranked in the top 10 in the AHL in penalty killing percentage (9th, 86.0%).

A CLOSE SECOND: After posting a 6-2-1-1 record in their last 10 games, San Antonio is now only seven points out of second place in the West Division.
