Moose Assign McCue To Bakersfield

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have assigned forward Matt McCue to the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL.

McCue, 21, appeared in 10 games with the Moose this season. In that span, he collected one goal and 24 penalty minutes.

He appeared in 52 games last season with the WHL's Medicine Hat Tigers where he scored five goals and 18 assists for 23 points and 160 penalty minutes. The Cochrane, AB native also played in nine games in 2008-09 with the Brandon Wheat Kings where he had one goal and one assist for two points and 35 penalty minutes. In 247 career games in six seasons, all in the WHL with Medicine Hat, Brandon, Chilliwack, and Spokane, McCue had 15 goals and 48 assists for 63 points and 625 penalty minutes.
