San Antonio Rampage News Release
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Friday, Oct. 28 vs. Houston Aeros
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage will host their rivals from Houston, the Aeros (4-1-0- 2), in a Lone Star Faceoff matchup on Friday night at the AT&T center. The first contest between the two on Oct. 15 resulted in a franchise record 11-round shootout win for San Antonio.
Saturday, Oct. 29 vs. Charlotte Checkers
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage are back in action on Saturday night with a home game against the Charlotte Checkers (4-2-1-0), who currently sit in a tie for first in the Midwest Division. This is the first-ever tilt be- tween the two franchises.
Sunday, Oct. 30 vs. Oklahoma City Barons
AT&T Center, 3:30 p.m.
The Rampage play a West Division matchup against the Oklahoma City Barons (4-1-0-1) in San Antonio on Sunday afternoon. The Barons won the first meeting, a 3-2 victory over the Rampage on Oct. 14.
KZEP DOLLAR DRINK NIGHT- Oct. 28: Every Fri- day fans can get $1 draft beer and $1 fountain soda. Friday's game also features an OVERTIME perform- ance by Audiomouth.
SPURS NIGHT- Oct. 29: This Saturday's game will be Spurs dominant as the Championship trophies, Silver Dancers and The Coyote will all be in atten- dance.
THE UPS STORE BOOK DRIVE - Oct. 29: Fans are encouraged to bring a children's book to the game this Saturday. Fans can also donate books at any of The UPS Store locations around San Antonio between now and Nov. 5. Everyone who donates a book at either the game or a The UPS Store location will re- ceive a Rampage bookmark and a complimentary ticket to a future game.
HALLOWEEN/SUNDAY FUNDAY- Oct. 30: Fans will have the chance to win great prizes in an adult and kids costume contest. Prior to puck drop fans can enjoy inflatables and interactive activities along the Bud Light Courtyard.
NAILBITERS: Four of the Rampage's five games have been decided by one goal. San Antonio is 3-1-0-0 in those games with two shootout wins.
LONE STAR FACEOFF: The Rampage have tallied two consecutive wins on the road against in-state rivals Houston Aeros and Texas Stars to propel them to the top of the Lone Star Faceoff standings with four points (2-0-0-0) in two games.
THREE-IN-THREE: The Rampage play three games in three days this weekend, with home games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is the first of nine occa- sions this year in which San Antonio will play three days in a row. The last time the Rampage hosted a three-in-three series at home was Oct. 23-25, 2009.
ICE CHIPS: Bracken Kearns- Center
After seven seasons and 429 career games in the minor leagues, 30-year-old forward Bracken Kearns made his NHL debut last Thursday with the Florida Panthers. He played in the Panthers' loss to the Buffalo Sabres and also appeared in Florida's victory over the New York Islanders on Saturday.
Kearns, who played all of the 2010-11 season with the Rampage, has three goals in three games with San Anto- nio so far this season. The Vancouver, British Columbia, native has since returned to the Rampage after logging over 14 minutes of NHL ice time.
