Saturday --- vs. Oklahoma City Barons (7:35 p.m. CST)
Sunday --- vs. Charlotte Checkers (5:05 p.m.)
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
The Aeros practice at Sugar Land Ice and Sports Center (SLICE) on Tuesday thru Thursday of this week starting at 10:30 a.m. The team will hold game day skate at SLICE on Friday at 10:15 a.m., bus to San Antonio for that night's game and return home afterwards. On Saturday the Aeros have a game day skate at Toyota Center scheduled for 10:15 a.m.
THE SKINNY
The Aeros (4-1-0-2, 10 pts.) earned five out of a possible six points last week with wins on Friday at Charlotte (3-2) and Sunday at home against Grand Rapids (3-1). The team earned a shootout point on Saturday at Charlotte (2-1 SOL). Entering this week, the Aeros occupy the top spot in the American Hockey League's Western Conference.
NOTABLES
Houston ranks sixth in AHL attendance with an average of 6,887 through three home games... The Aeros boast the fourth-best team goals against average (GAA) in the AHL at 2.00... Jon DiSalvatore's goal on Saturday moved him into sixth place overall in Aeros AHL franchise goal scoring with 51. Kirby Law is the franchise leader with 68... Carson McMillan sat out the weekend and will complete his four-game suspension Friday at San Antonio... Casey Wellman continued his strong play with an assist on Justin Fontaine's goal on Sunday and has at least a point in all but one game this season. Wellman leads the Aeros with seven points (5-2=7)... Fontaine is 15th among rookie scoring leaders with five points (2-3=5)... Kyle Medvec made his pro debut on Sunday and registered two shots on goal... Kris Foucault's first pro goal on Sunday was also the game-winner... Matt Hackett's .942 save percentage is fifth in the league... Dennis Endras made his first start at home and earned his first Aeros victory on Sunday with 31 saves.

Saturday, Oct. 29, is the first-ever Aeros Dollar Hot Dog night at Toyota Center. Faceoff against the Oklahoma City Barons is scheduled for 7:35 p.m.

BOOSTER CLUB MEET AND GREET WITH THE COACHES
The Houston Aeros Booster Club's first General Meeting has been set for Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at Texas Land & Cattle on US 59 South at Kirkwood in Stafford, TX (in the Fountains Shopping Center). The guest speakers for this meeting will be all three Aeros coaches. The Booster Club is waiving the non-member fee for first-time attendees. There are a limited amount of seats available.
