San Antonio Rampage News Release


Rampage Update: The Rampage started their exhibition play going 1-1-0-0 with both games against the Houston Aeros. On Friday, the Rampage hosted the Aeros at the Ice Center at Northwoods winning in front of a standing room only crowd 4-3. Rob Globke scored the game winner on a power play goal with six seconds to play in the game. The Rampage were down 3-0 until Lou Dickenson scored a shorthanded goal at 15:39 in the second period. Gregory Campbell opened the third scoring 1:27 into the period, and Ryan Jardine tied the contest at 12:18. Goalie Travis Scott saved 11 of 14 shots while backup Phil Osaer saved all six shots he faced to get the win.

In Saturday's game, the Rampage fell to the Aeros 4-1 at the Aerodrome in Sugar Land, Texas. Josh Olson scored the lone goal for the Rampage in the second period. Goalie Patrick DesRochers saved 20 of 21 shots and Osaer stopped 15 of 18.
