MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs and Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough on Monday announced the following transactions: Reassigned to the Reading Royals (ECHL):

Released from Monarchs Training Camp:

Frederic Belanger – Defenseman
Max Bull – Center
Yutaka Fukufuji – Goaltender
Connor James – Left Wing
Nikita Korovkin – Defenseman
Mike Lukajic – Right Wing
Simon Mangos – Defenseman
Nathan Marsters – Goaltender
Lars Peder Nagel – Center
Brett Peterson – Defenseman
Dustin Russell – Left Wing

The Monarchs (0-1-0-1), the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, continue their exhibition schedule when they visit Conway Arena in Nashua, New Hampshire to meet the Lowell Lock Monsters on Friday, October 8 at 7:00 p.m. The two teams will also meet at the Icenter in Salem, New Hampshire for an exhibition contest on Saturday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m. The Monarchs will open up the 2004-05 regular season by hosting the Worcester IceCats on Friday, October 15 at 7:35 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
