Much light last night's game, Jeff Hoggan got the Griffins on the board first with a power-play tally off a rebounded puck at 13:56 of the first period. Grand Rapids took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.
Connor Brickley scored two goals within the first five minutes of the second stanza to give the Silver and Black their first lead of the game. Brickley's first goal came just 1:17 into the frame, and the second was a backhander past Jared Coreau at 4:23. Mark Mancari picked up an assist on both tallies.
Marek Tvrdon picked up the puck off a Rampage turnover and send a cross-crease pass to Any Miele, who tied the game at two at 7:39, and Hoggan got his second of the game in the last minute of the frame to give the Griffins a 3-2 lead after 40 minutes of play.

Michael Houser, in his 16th start of the season, made 32 saves on 35 shots. Coreau stopped 24-of-26 Rampage attempts.
KEY STAT Brickley and Mancari both registered multi-point efforts, and Mancari extended his assist streak to two games, tallying a total of four assists against Grand Rapids.
The Rampage have allowed power-play goals in two straight games despite killing off seven of the Griffins man-advantage opportunities.
