MILWAUKEE (Nov. 24, 2015) - The San Antonio Rampage (9-3-5-0) fell to the Milwaukee Admirals (12-4-1-0) 6-3 in front of 2,515 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Tuesday. The Rampage pulled within one late in the second period off a Borna Rendulic goal, but two third-period goals by Milwaukee sealed the game. Rendulic would finish with two goals on three shots, earning the Second Star of the Game.
Marc-Andre Cliché opened the scoring by whipping the puck past Juuse Saros to put the Rampage up 1-0. The Admirals were held to zero shots until the 14th minute of the first period, but they rallied late in the first to score two power play goals and take a 2-1 lead.
Pontus Aberg goal scored the third unanswered goal for the Admirals in the second period. The Rampage answered when Rendulic scored his first of the game to cut into the lead. Down 3-2, Milwaukee fired back in the 11th minute, as Colton Sissons capitalized off a Rampage turnover. With 42 seconds left in the second, Rendulic fought off the Milwaukee defense in front of the net to bag his second of the game and cut the lead to 4-3.
With the Rampage in striking distance, the Admirals wouldn't let up and scored two more goals near the midway point of the third frame to seal the game. After allowing his sixth goal of the night, Goaltender Calvin Pickard was replaced by Roman Will with 9:10 remaining. Will finished the game with two saves and zero goals allowed.
San Antonio finished 1-for-3 on the power play while the Admirals capitalized on each of their two opportunities with the man advantage.
