San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO- The San Antonio Rampage announced today that they have signed defenseman Justin Agosta to a professional tryout contract.
Agosta, 26, skated in 23 contests with the Manchester Monarchs before joining the Rampage, registering six goals and 13 assists. The second-year pro led the team's defensemen in scoring, and is tied for fourth amongst ECHL defensemen. Agosta has recorded five multiple-point games with the Monarchs this season and his plus-16 is tied for the third-best amongst all skaters in the league. Agosta appeared in eight AHL games last year with the Charlotte Checkers, logging one assist and four penalty minutes.
The newly acquired defenseman will join San Antonio as it concludes its four-game road stint tonight against the Milwaukee Admirals at 7 p.m. at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. All Rampage games can be heard on Ticket 760 and SARampage.com. Individual and season tickets are available and can be purchased by calling a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or online at SARampage.com. The 2016-17 season is presented by Wells Fargo.
