- TODAY'S STORYLINES

The Week That Was: In three games last week, Blake Coleman led all Devils with three points and a +3 rating. He registered a goal and two helpers. Blake Pietila and John Quenneville both had two points, producing a goal and an assist each. Despite their efforts, Albany went 0-3-0-0 with losses against Binghamton Wednesday (3-2), at Syracuse Friday (4-2) and against Providence Saturday (3-1).

Pelley Hits 700: Rod Pelley played his 700th professional game when the Devils traveled to Syracuse Saturday. The Devils' captain has logged 445 career AHL games and 256 NHL contests. At the AHL level, he has produced 135 points (70g-65a). At the NHL level, he has 29 points (9g-20a).

Standings Watch: After 25 games, the Devils are third in the North Division and eighth in the Eastern Conference at 13-11-0-1 (27 pts., .540). The team's 9-4-0-0 home record (.692) ranks fifth in the conference and 12th in the AHL.
