Wednesday, December 7 at Tucson Roadrunners: 3-2 Overtime Win Forward Teddy Purcell made his Reign debut and scored the game-winning goal in overtime to give the Reign their second consecutive win over the Roadrunners. Defenseman Kurtis MacDermid and forward Justin Auger added tallies in regulation time and netminder Jack Campbell provided 35 outstanding saves. Game Summary Friday, December 9 at Tucson Roadrunners: 5-4 Overtime Loss The Reign erased a three-goal first-period deficit to fight back and force OT before falling to the Roadrunners. Forward Michael Mersch provided two third-period goals and forward T.J. Hensick added two assists. Game Summary Saturday, December 10 vs. Charlotte Checkers: 5-2 Win On Saturday, the Reign closed out an exhausting day of travel with a dominating performance over the Checkers. Forward Mike Amadio and defenseman Zac Leslie each grabbed a goal and an assist and the Reign raced out to a 3-0 lead after the first period of action.
