
Rampage Set to Play Final Two Home Games Before February Trip

TUESDAY, JANUARY 18, 2005: MILWAUKEE 4 - SAN ANTONIO 2
Josh Olson tied the game at two early in the third period, but Milwaukee added two more in the final ten minutes to take a 4-2 win over the Rampage. San Antonio was able to stay within a goal of the division-leading Admirals until 2:40 remaining to play in the game.
Trailing 1-0 in the first period, Stephen Weiss took a feed from Lukas Krajicek and Juraj Kolnik at 16:48 and scored on Brian Finley.
Olson's fourth goal of the year occurred at 1:22 into the third period and was assisted by team captain Paul Healey.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 20, 2005: MILWAUKEE 4 - SAN ANTONIO 0
Milwaukee's Brian Finley had an answer for every Rampage shot on the night.
Finley stopped all 25 San Antonio attempts in route to a 4-0 victory over the Rampage at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
Travis Scott and Patrick DesRochers combined to save 25 shots, but Milwaukee used a team-effort and had 12 players score one point each in the game.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 21, 2005: HOUSTON 4 - SAN ANTONIO 2
The Rampage cut a 3-0 deficit to one midway through the third period at 3-2 when Juraj Kolnik and Joel Kwiatkowski scored late in the second and early in the third periods.
Kolnik's goal was set up beautifully by line-mates Stephen Weiss and Nathan Horton. After Weiss was able to feed the puck into Horton's hands, Horton delivered a no-look pass that caught Aeros goaltender Michael Smith off guard for Kolnik's one-timer.
Filip Novak and Petr Taticek helped Kwiatkowski at 10:18 in the third period and brought the crowd of 5,293 back into the game. After the goal, the Rampage controlled the puck down low in the attack zone, but Smith subsequently denied opportunity after opportunity.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 23, 2005: SAN ANTONIO 3 - MILWAUKEE 1
Joel Kwiatkowski, Stephen Weiss, and Travis Scott led the way as the Rampage defeated the Milwaukee Admirals 3-1, notching their third win in the last four home games.
With 34 seconds to play in the second period, Joel Kwiatkowski fired a shot from the blueline that was deflected in front by Gregory Campbell. Weiss also assisted on the game- winner for his second assist of the contest.
At 14:19 in the third, captain Paul Healey took the puck behind the net and found a crashing Kwiatkowski who took a feed in front and chipped it over the shoulder of Milwaukee goaltender Seamus Kotyk for an insurance goal.
Travis Scott turned away 34 of 35 shots on the night for his 12th win of the season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Defenseman - Joel Kwiatkowski
Kwiatkowski has led the Rampage for the month of January and was key to San Antonio's 3-1 win against Milwaukee. Joel earned an assist on a deflected game- winning shot and added a third period goal in the game. On the season, Kwaitkowski leads Rampage defensemen in scoring with 7 goals and 19 points.
SHOTS FROM THE POINT
In his last nine games, defenseman Joel Kwiatkowski has seven poins on three goals and four assists.
The Rampage are now 6-0-0-1 this season when center Stephen Weiss records multiple points in a game. Weiss leads the team with seven multiple point contests, including five two-point nights and two three-point games.
With his third game-winning goal of the season on Sunday, Gregory Campbell moved into a tie for the team lead with Stephen Weiss.
