LEAFLETS...
- The Maple Leafs will play host to Milwaukee and Hamilton next week at Mile One Stdaium.
- St. John's is 5-4-0-0 on their current road trip and will try to snap a two game losing streak Wendesday vs Hershey.
- Forward David Ling has 15 points including six goals in his last 10 games. Matt Stajan has 10 points (4G,6A) in the team last 10 games.
- Rookie defenceman Ian White leads the team with a +15 rating... Brendan Bell leads all Leafs defence with 19 points (3G,16A).
- The Baby Leafs will complete their road trip this week with one game against Hershey on Wednesday and two games against Cleveland this weekend.

The Hershey Bears (Colorado) are currently 5th in the East Division with 41 points and have a 20-21-1-0 record... The Bears are 6-4-0-0 in their last 10 games and are 11-10-1-0 at home this season... Hershey is ranked 14th while on the powerplay at 15.7% and are 20th while killing penalties at 82.4%... C Eric Perrin leads the team with 36 points (13G,23A) this season... MAPLE LEAFS PLAYER OF THE WEEK...
St. John's has selected center Kyle Wellwood as the Maple Leafs Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, January 23rd. Wellwood tallied nine points (3G,6A), was a +3 and had 10 shots on net in three games last week. Wellwood's weekly highlight was his four point (G,3A) performance last Wednesday in the team's 4-2 win over the Hershey Bears. Wellwood was named the game's first star for his performance.
The Cleveland Barons (San Jose) are currently 6th in the North Division with 42 points and have a 19-21-1- 3 record... The Barons are 4-5-0-1 in their last 10 games and are 10-8-1-1 at home this season... Cleveland is ranked 21st while on the powerplay at 13.3% and are 24th while killing penalties at 81.2%... LW Ryan Clowe leads the team with 31 points (9G,22A) this season... Goaltender Dimitri Patzold has a 11-9-3 record, a 2.32 GAA and a .922 save percentage... LW Josh Pruden has six points (4G,2A) in his last five games... This Maple Leafs are 1-2 against the Cleveland Barons this season.

The Milwaukee Admirals visit Mile One Stadium next Monday & Tuesday for the only time this season.
The Leafs' arch rival Hamilton Bulldogs will be in St. John's next Friday and Saturday at Mile One Stadium.

January 24, 2003 - Jamie Hodson kicks out 33 shots to post his first American Hockey League victory as St. John's trim the hometown Albany River Rats 4-1.
January 25, 2001 - In what was termed an "ugly" victory, the Leafs outlast Louisville 9-6 at Freedom Hall. St. John's score four third period goals to snap a 5-5 tie. Adam Mair leads the assault with two goals and three assists, Donald MacLean scores twice and chips in with two helpers while Bobby House and Alyn McCauley also score two goals apiece while adding an assist.
