
Rampage Reassign Wilson, Marshall and Hauswirth

SAN ANTONIO (November 7, 2011) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has reassigned forward Garrett Wilson to their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones. In addition, the Rampage has returned forwards David Marshall and Jake Hauswirth to their CHL affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.
Wilson, 20, appeared in two games over the weekend recording a plus-1 since his recall on Oct. 31. He has skated in four games with Cincinnati this season collecting two goals and three assists, which leads Cyclones forwards with five points. The Elmvale, Ontario native appeared in 191 career Ontario Hockey League (OHL) games collecting 94 goals and 89 assists split between the Owen Sound Attack (2008-11) and the Windsor Spitfire (2007-08). He was a member of the 2011 OHL Champion Owen Sound where he tallied 11 goals and 10 assists in 22 playoff games. He was selected by the Florida Panthers in the fourth round, 107th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Marshall, 26, has played in four games with the Rampage this season tallying a goal in the Rampage's 6-1 victory over Toronto on Saturday. The Buffalo, Minn. native has skated in three games with Rio Grande Valley this season posting one goal and two assists. He has played in 71 career AHL games contributing nine goals and eight assists and appeared in 11 AHL playoff games last season with the Penguins.
Hauswirth, 23, has skated in four games with Rio Grande Valley recording two goals this season. The Houghton, Mich. native has played in 111 career ECHL games collecting 29 goals and 33 assists over the course of two seasons with South Carolina (2009-11) and Cincinnati (2010-11).
The Rampage embark on their first out of state road trip this Thursday and Friday to play a back-to-back set against the Lake Erie Monsters at Quicken Loans Arena.
