Wolves Send Testwuide to Missouri

The Chicago Wolves have assigned defenseman J.P. TESTWUIDE to the Central Hockey League's Missouri Mavericks.

The 27-year-old has not appeared in any games with the Wolves this season. Last year, he posted five points (G, 4A) and 56 penalty minutes in 48 American Hockey League games with the Adirondack Phantoms during his second pro campaign.

Overall, the Vail, Colo., native has tallied 13 points (3G, 10A) and 171 penalty minutes in 108 career AHL matchups with the Houston Aeros and Phantoms from 2009-11.

Prior to turning pro, TESTWUIDE spent four years at the University of Denver (WCHA), where he recorded 23 assists, 28 points and 282 penalty minutes in 144 games from 2005-09.
