San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO (November 2, 2010) - Throughout the month of November the San Antonio Rampage will grow mustaches for Movember, a month-long event aimed at raising funds and awareness about cancers that affect men.
The entire Rampage team has taken it upon themselves to help change the face of men's health by growing mustaches for the entire month of November and encourage fans to do the same. Updates on the team's progress will be posted throughout the month on sarampage.com where fans can vote on the player with the best 'stache. The Rampage encourage fans to submit photos of their own mustaches via sarampage.com and will be shown in game throughout Movember. The Rampage player (voted on by fans) and fan (voted on by the team) with the best 'stache will be announced at the Rampage's last game of the month on Nov. 28.
Fans are encouraged to make a donation on behalf of the Rampage with funds benefitting the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) and LIVESTRONG, Lance Armstrong's Foundation. To donate on behalf of the Rampage, visit Movember.
The Rampage kick off Movember tomorrow when they host the Toronto Marlies at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
