Devils Bring Thanksgiving Food Drive to Times Union Center

ALBANY, N.Y. - The Albany Devils and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York have teamed up for a Thanksgiving food drive during the Devils' home games on Nov. 6, 7 and 12. Fans who attend these games and donate a non-perishable item will receive a free ticket voucher for a future Devils' contest at the Times Union Center. Also, the first 2,000 children 12-and-under at the Nov. 12 game will receive a pack of Devils' logo bands.

Albany will battle Rochester, Providence and Syracuse during the selected dates and together the Devils and the Regional Food Bank will combat hunger in the Capital District. Tickets for the game can be purchased at the Times Union Center box office or at any Ticketmaster outlet. Fans can also buy tickets via charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000 or online at ticketmaster.com.

The Regional Food Bank, the only organization of its kind in Northeast New York, has been helping to feed the poor and hungry in the area since 1982. The Food Bank collects large donations of food and distributes it to charitable agencies serving hungry and disadvantaged people in 23 counties. The Food Bank provides over 22 million pounds of food a year to 1,000 agencies.
