GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (Oct. 29, 2014) - The San Antonio Rampage (5-3-0-0) fell to the Adirondack Flames (3-5-1-0) 7-6 in their first-ever matchup at Glens Falls Civic Center. This was the final road game of a five-game trip in which the Rampage picked up three wins on the season.

Six different players tallied goals for the Silver and Black, and Drew Shore and Brett Olson each added two assists in the largest offensive effort of the season. Corban Knight and Ben Hanowski each scored twice to lead the Flames.

The Rampage struck early, as Stephen Kampfer slipped the puck past Joni Ortio to tally his third of the road trip. With Tony Turgeon in the box for San Antonio, Ben Hanowski fired a shot from Michael Ferland past Michael Houser to even the score. Back at even-strength, Ferland gave Adirondack the first lead of the game three minutes later, and Garnet Hathaway scored to give the Flames a 3-1 lead after the first period.

The second period was a scoring frenzy, as the Rampage got goals from Garrett Wilson and Rocco Grimaldi to knot the game at three. Adirondack took the lead once again with a goal from Hanowski less than a minute later. Shane O'Brien and Logan Shaw notched goals just over a minute apart to give the Rampage a 5-4 lead midway through the period. The Flames would finish out the second-period scoring, as Corban Knight's blast from the blue line on the power play tied the game at five heading into the second intermission.

Max Reinhart opened the third-period scoring, beating Houser to give the Flames a 6-5 lead less than two minutes in. Bobby Butler answered for San Antonio, putting a low-angle shot past Ortio to tie it back up at 4:13. Knight's second goal for Adirondack proved to be the game-winner, giving the Flames a 7-6 victory.

KEY STATS: The Rampage's four goals in the second were the most scored in a single period all year. This was also the most total goals scored in a single game for San Antonio since April 19, 2013.

Brett Olson, Bobby Butler, Drew Shore and Shane O'Brien all had multi-point games, continuing both Olson and Butler's point streak. Olson, with two assists on the night, also continued his streak to a third game. Garrett Wilson led the team with six shots.

The 37 shots faced by Michael Houser mark a season high for the Rampage.

SPECIAL TEAMS: The Rampage finished 2-for-2 on the power play, but converted when it mattered most, scoring back-to-back goals with the man advantage in the second period. The Rampage took four minor penalties in the first period, giving up two power play goals early in the game and finishing 2-for-5 on the penalty kill.
