TEXAS STARS MEDIA RELEASE - Dallas Stars Reassign McKenzie to Texas

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today forward Curtis McKenzie has been reassigned to the team. McKenzie made his NHL debut with Dallas on Oct. 18 in the Stars' 6-5 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.

Last year's AHL Rookie of the Year, the 23-year old McKenzie scored a goal in Texas' opening game against the Iowa Wild on Oct. 11 before his NHL call-up on Oct. 14. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound forward tallied 65 points (27 goals, 38 assists) in 75 games last season for Texas.

The Texas Stars host Oklahoma City tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center.
