WINNIPEG, Manitoba (February 12, 2011)- The San Antonio Rampage were shut out 5-0 by the Manitoba Moose on Saturday night at the MTS Centre. The Rampage claim a 32-20-2-0 record good for 66 points.

Manitoba was the first to score as they took a 1-0 lead on their first power-play opportunity of the game 2:35 after the initial puck drop. Bill Sweatt sent a centering feed from the left wing boards to centre Mario Bliznak who shot the puck to the high stick side of Rampage goaltender Matt Climie.

The Moose extended their lead to 2-0 when Evan Oberg scored a power-play goal after firing a bullet from the high slot that went high glove side of Climie 5:07 into the first period.

Manitoba pushed their lead to 3-0 after centre Alexandre Bolduc scored his first goal of the season. Bolduc redirected Travis Ramsay's pass from the right faceoff circle wide of Climie's blocker and into the back of the net at the 1:10 mark of the second period.

After allowing three goals in 31 minutes of play, Rampage head coach Ray Edwards substituted Climie for backup goaltender Joe Fallon.

The Moose claimed a 4-0 advantage when center Cody Hodgson received a cross-ice pass from Mark Flood at the right faceoff circle where he snapped a shot over the right shoulder of Fallon 51 seconds into the third period.

Manitoba took a 5-0 lead after Bliznak backhanded a pass from the right goal line to left wing Shawn Weller in the slot for a shot that went low stick side of Fallon at the 9:38 mark of the final frame.

San Antonio was outshot 41-22 by Manitoba. Climie and Fallon combined for 36 saves on 41 Moose shot attempts while Lack stopped all 22 Rampage shots he faced.

The Rampage travel to upstate New York to face the Syracuse Crunch at 6:30 p.m. this Friday at the Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter.
