Wolves Release Miller

The Chicago Wolves have released forward TIM MILLER from his Professional Tryout Contract (PTO).

MILLER scored a goal in the Wolves 5-2 win over the Milwaukee Admirals last night. He has appeared in nine outings with the Wolves overall this season, recording five points (2G, 3A).

The 23-year-old forward has also skated in 44 matchups with the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators this season. He ranks first on Gwinnett and is tied for ninth in the ECHL with 19 goals and holds third on the Gladiators with 33 points.

Last year, the Davisburg, Mich., native recorded two points (G, A) and 18 penalty minutes in 21 outings with the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch, and 35 points (15G, 20A) in 44 ECHL outings with Gwinnett.

Prior to turning pro, MILLER spent four years at the University of Michigan, where he racked up 25 goals, 52 assists and 77 points in 166 games from 2005 to 2009. He made his AHL debut in one game with Syracuse following the end of his senior season at Michigan and tallied his first professional goal.
