Rampage Announce Opening Night Roster

SAN ANTONIO (October 3, 2013) - The San Antonio Rampage open their 12th season, presented by CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System and Red McCombs Toyota, on Friday night with 26 players on their roster, including 14 forwards, nine defensemen and three goaltenders. The Rampage will host the Chicago Wolves at 7:30 p.m. at the AT&T Center on Friday and continue Opening Weekend at AT&T Center against the Rockford IceHogs at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The Rampage will begin the season with 16 returning players from last year's squad, along with five rookies. This year's Opening Night roster has a combined experience of 3,793 American Hockey League games and 1,524 National Hockey League games, which is 1,056 more NHL games of experience compared to last year's Opening Night roster.

The first 4,000 fans through the doors on Friday will receive an exclusive 2013-14 Rampage schedule magnet. In addition, Friday is the first of 12 KZEP / Bud Light Dollar Drink Nights where fans can enjoy $1 Beer and Sodas. Following Friday's game, the Rampage will host an Overtime performance from The Heroine, a local San Antonio rock band who performed in this year's River City Rockfest. The free Overtime performance, presented by Red McCombs Toyota, will take place in the Bud Light Courtyard.

The Rampage will introduce Dollar Hot Dog and Dollar Popcorn Nights starting on Saturday, Oct. 5 at AT&T Center. Rampage fans will be able to purchase $1 Hot Dogs and $1 Popcorn for all 11 Saturday home games. In addition, the Rampage are introducing the Red McCombs Toyota Red Lot, which will allow the first 100 Rampage fans driving a Toyota to the AT&T Center to receive free parking.

The Rampage have also announced that the home press box will continue on as the Jessica Redfield Press Box for the 2013-14 season in honor of Jessica Redfield Ghawi, a San Antonio native who was one of 12 people killed in the movie theatre shooting in Aurora, Colo., in July 2012. Redfield interned at the San Antonio media outlets Ticket 760 and KABB Fox-29 and attended numerous Rampage games and practices on assignment.

The Rampage, the Florida Panthers' top affiliate, open the 2013-14 season with the following players:
