Iowa Wild Announce Opening Night Roster

Des Moines, IA - Iowa Wild General Manager Jim Mill on Thursday announced the American Hockey League (AHL) club's Opening Night roster. Mill also announced defenseman Colton Jobke and forward Josh Caron have been reassigned to the Orlando Solar Bears, the Wild's ECHL affiliate. In addition, the following players were released from training camp: goalie Mark Guggenberger, forward Marshall Everson, as well as defensem e n Blake Kessel and Nicholas Rioux.
The Iowa Wild's Opening Night roster is composed of three goalies, eight defensemen and 14 forwards.
Iowa Wild Opening Night Roster:
Goalies: Darcy Kuemper, Johan Gustafsson, John Curry
Defensemen: Carl Sneep, Jon Landry, Kyle Medvec, Brian Connelly, Corbin Baldwin, Steven Kampfer, Jonathon Blum and Tyler Cuma.
Forwards: Tyler Graovac, Erik Haula, Jake Dowell, Kris Foucault, Jason Zucker, Brett Bulmer, Raphael Bussieres, Stephane Veilleux, Chad Rau, Warren Peters, David Steckel, Carson McMillan, Taylor Matson, Zack Phillips.

Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-866-55-DAHLS (32457) or by visiting one of 13 Dahl's food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area, and in Ames. In order to purchase group tickets (10 or more), please call the Iowa Wild ticketing department at 515-564-8700. The Iowa Wild begins its Inaugural season, presented by Mercy Medical Center, in October of 2013. Season tickets to see the Wild play at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $9 per game.
