Hudson Valley Renegades News Release
WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY - Friday night's ballgame between the Hudson Valley Renegades and Brooklyn Cyclones was suspended due to rain in the bottom-of-the-third inning with the Renegades trailing the Cyclones 2-0. The game will be resumed tomorrow at 5:05. Hudson Valley will be at the plate with a runner at third and nobody out. The first game will be played to its completion at a full nine innings, while game two will only be a seven-inning contest.
Brooklyn scored both of their runs in the third inning when rightfielder Ross Adolph belted a two-out, two-run homer over the left-centerfield wall to give the Cyclones its 2-0 lead. It was his third homer of the season.
Game two tomorrow night will be played 30 minutes after the completion of game one. In the second contest, right-hander Easton McGee (5-3, 6.04 ERA) will be on the hill for Hudson Valley against fellow righty Christian James (3-1, 2.05 ERA) for Brooklyn. After the game, there will be a performance by a Dave Matthews Tribute Band. Tickets can be purchased online at hvrenegades.com or by calling the ticket office at 845-838-0094.
