CLEBURNE, Texas - Alex Polston went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles, but Cleburne's 8th-inning rally fell short in a 5-4, 10-inning loss to the Sioux City Explorers at The Depot on Tuesday night.

Cleburne rallied for three runs off of the Sioux City bullpen in the 8th inning. Trevor Sealey drove in a run with an infield single before Chase Simpson added another with a fielder's choice. Levi Scott then tied the game with a two-out RBI single to right field.

The Explorers rallied with one-out singles in the 10th inning before Shawn Blackwell's wild pitch scored the eventual game-winning run.

Cleburne starter Dylan Mouzakes gave up the two runs just five days after giving up a season-high 10 runs to the Explorers in Sioux City last Thursday, but the Railroaders scored just one unearned run against Sioux City starter Justin Vernia in their 13th consecutive loss on Tuesday.
