GARY, IN - The RailCats first homestand of June starts Friday, June 7 and runs through Wednesday, June 12. The RailCats are Entertaining the Region all summer long and this six-game homestand features awesome giveaways, appearances and a special value for every night of the week.
The homestand includes Fireworks Friday, Souvenir Saturday, Times Family Sunday, Kids Eat Free Monday, Two for Tuesday, and Dollar Wednesday. Here's a closer look at the great promotions and giveaways that will occur during the homestand:
Friday, June 7th vs. Sioux Falls Canaries @ 7:10 p.m. (Gates open at 6:00 p.m., VIP Gate at 5:30 p.m.)
Prom Night, E'Twaun Moore Appearance, Fireworks Friday - Re-live your prom night with the RailCats! Enter U. S. Steel Yard through an arch of balloons, take a professional picture in your prom clothing and enjoy a slow dance on the field during our post-game fireworks show. Fans that arrive at U. S. Steel Yard in prom attire will receive a $2 discount off their ticket.
Fans can also have their prom pictures shown on the video board at U. S. Steel Yard by submitting them ahead of time to MFanta@railcatsbaseball.com.
Aaron's will be giving out Bamsticks and $55 gift cards to the first 2,000 fans through the gate at U. S. Steel Yard. All fans can enter to win a Man Cave (2 recliners and a TV) at the game. Aaron's will also be giving away coloring sheets to young fans so they can enter to win a 19" TV. Aaron's Lucky Dog will be in attendance and available to take pictures with fans and much more!
Orlando Magic guard and former Purdue University and East Chicago Central star E'Twaun Moore will also be in attendance on Friday night.

Saturday, June 8th vs. Sioux Falls Canaries @ 6:10 p.m. (Gates open at 5:00 p.m., VIP Gate at 4:30 p.m.)
Where's Waldo, Yowie Giveaway - Enjoy a scavenger hunt in the ballpark on an epic journey to find Waldo and other characters. Fans can bring their completed check list to Fan Information and receive a free Reserved Flex Ticket good for any future RailCats game.
The first 1,000 fans through the gate at U. S. Steel Yard get a free Yowie Rally Towel presented by First Midwest Bank.
Sunday, June 9th vs. Sioux Falls Canaries @ 2:10 p.m. (Gates open at 1:00 p.m., VIP Gate at 12:30 p.m.)
Bark in the Park, Times Family Sunday - Bring your furry, four-legged friends to U. S. Steel Yard! Dogs enter free (with valid shots). Bring your dog to be a part of our pre-game beauty pageant. Categories for the pageant will be for the Biggest Dog, Smallest Dog, Furriest Dog, and Best Costume. Winners will be brought on the field throughout the game and recognized.
Other events during the game include a silent auction with many items available including White Sox tickets (courtesy of RailCats Owner Pat Salvi) and contributions from Black Pearl Dog Bakery, Dogtopia, Hanover Veterinary Hospital, LUV for Animals Pet Sitting, Dog Training & Pet Boutique, Terry's Aquarium & Pet Center, Canine Country Club, Woof Luxury Unleashed, Smith Animal Clinic, and much more!
Nine Animal Rescues and Adoption agencies will be at U. S. Steel Yard with puppies and kittens available for adoption. Enjoy a photo session with Fotos 4 Fido and get an imprint of your pooches paw with Pipers Paw-O-Graphs. Smoochie Pooch will be available for free nail trimmings (with donation) and Scentsy will also have scented candles available for sale. Also, have your dogs cool off in our Dog Pools in Right Field!
All proceeds from Bark in the Park will go to the nine local rescues and shelters in attendance. Sunday is also Times Family Sunday; for $36 fans can get four tickets, hot dogs, and pops with coupon from the Times.
Monday, June 10th vs. Quebec Capitales @ 7:10 p.m. (Gates open at 6:00 p.m., VIP Gate at 5:30 p.m.)
Kids Eat Free Monday - The first 500 kids through the gate at U. S. Steel Yard will receive a voucher for one free hot dog, popcorn and pop.
Tuesday, June 11th vs. Quebec Capitales @ 7:10 p.m. (Gates open at 6:00 p.m., VIP Gate at 5:30 p.m.)
Two for Tuesday - Buy two and get two free on Tickets, Hot Dogs, Chips and Pop at U. S. Steel Yard.
Wednesday, June 12th vs. Quebec Capitales @ 7:10 p.m. (Gates open at 6:00 p.m., VIP Gate at 5:30 p.m.)
Dollar Wednesday - Fans can buy one ticket at full price and get a second ticket for just one dollar. Hot dogs, popcorn, chips and pop are all available for just one dollar at the concession stand.
After this upcoming homestand, the RailCats head out on a six-game road trip to Fargo-Moorhead and Wichita before returning home on June 20 for an 11-game homestand.
