Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks News Release

FARGO, ND - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have signed OF Tyler Graham. Graham, who appeared in the Major Leagues with the Arizona Diamondbacks last season, will be in the line-up tonight as the RedHawks continue a four-game series with the Lincoln Saltdogs at Newman Outdoor Field.

Graham, 29, spent time in 2012 in both the San Francisco Giants and Diamondbacks organization, mostly at the Triple-A and Major League level. He batted .263 in five games with the Fresno Grizzlies of the Pacific Coast League (PCL/AAA) before being released by the Giants. He then signed with Arizona and after eight games in the rookie Arizona League appeared in 26 games for the Reno Aces of the PCL.

Graham earned a September call-up to the Diamondbacks and appeared in ten games, mostly as a pinch runner. He struck out in two plate appearances and scored a run.

Graham was originally selected by the Giants in the 19th round of the 2006 draft out of Oregon State University, where he helped the Beavers to the 2006 College World Series championship. He is a career .276 hitter and has amassed 228 career stolen bases. He stole a career-best 60 bases at Fresno in 2011.
