Raiders to Wear Specialty Jerseys in Support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada

April 24, 2021 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Prince Albert Raiders News Release

Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders will be wearing specialty jerseys in Monday's game against the Winnipeg ICE in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada presented by Mann-Northway Chevrolet GMC Buick Cadillac.

Originally, these jerseys were scheduled to be worn on March 13, 2020 prior to the cancellation of the 2019-20 WHL season due to COVID-19.

The jerseys were designed by Brooks Freeman, who won the Fan Appreciation Night jersey design contest for the end of the 2018-19 season. The scripted text is based on the full logo from the Raiders' SJHL and early WHL days. The front logo is crested with sublimated design elements.

Some of the jerseys will be available via auction at 32auctions.com, beginning on Monday, April 26 at Noon CST. Any jerseys bought outright during last year's auction will carry over to this year. Bidding starts at $250 with a buy-now option for $450, with the exception of two jerseys that will have bidding open at the highest bid from last year's auction. The minimum bid increment is $15. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

The auction will close at Noon CST on Monday, May 3.

Winners in the auction will be notified when their jerseys will be available for pickup. Shipping is available for an additional $15 charge.

Watch the jerseys in action as the Raiders take on the Winnipeg ICE at 4 p.m. in the Subway Hub Centre. The game is available on WHL Live on CHL TV.
