
Raiders Score Late To Get Past Blazers

Ryan McDonald's powerplay goal with less than 3 minutes left in regulation broke a 2-2 tie and helped the Raiders to a 4-2 win over the Blazers last night in Prince Albert.
Bryce Lamb and James Dobrowolski staked the Raiders to a 2-0 by the 3 minute mark of the second before the Blazers rallied to tie it with a pair of goals by Juuso Puustinen - scoring late in the second and early in the third for a 2-all draw. Devon Leblanc added an empty netter to close the scoring.
Final shots were 29-26 Blazers with Steven Stanford getting the win while James Priestner took the loss.
The Blazers were 1-for-2 on the PP and 4-for-5 on the PK.
Alex Rodgers chipped in with two assists.
