Raiders Add 16 Year Old Affiliate Player

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - With players currently away at International events and injuries, the Prince Albert Raiders have added 16 year-old right winger Marc Mackenzie to their roster as an affiliated player for the next four Western Hockey League games. Mackenzie, who is from Kelowna, BC plays for the Chase Chiefs in the Kimberley International Junior Hockey League and will join the Raiders in time for their game in Moose Jaw tomorrow night.

16 year olds Mark McNeill and Harrison Ruopp are currently in Timmins, Ontario taking part in the World Under 17 Challenge as part of Team West and forwards Igor Revenko (Jaw - week-to-week) and Andrew Herle (Shoulder - day-to-day) are injured.

In 31 games with the Chiefs this season, Mackenzie has 7 goals and 6 assists for 13 points to go along with 111 minutes in penalties. Mackenzie, who turned 16 last month, is 6'2", 180 pounds.

Mackenzie is a teammate of Raider prospect Brock Balson in Chase. Balson also is attending the World Under 17 Challenge as part of Team Pacific.

Mackenzie will wear #10.
