PRINCE GEORGE, BC - Local minor hockey teams have a chance to practice with the Cougars when they bring their families and friends to Minor Hockey Night on Friday, January 15th. The team to purchase the most group tickets for that night's Cougars game with the Vancouver Giants will be joined by the Cougars' captains at an upcoming practice.
January 15th is also Jersey Night at CN Centre. Fans are encouraged to wear their favourite jersey for a chance to win prizes throughout the game.
"We enjoy working with the Prince George Minor Hockey Association and College Heights Community Association on minor hockey scrimmages and other events throughout the season," said Cougars Vice President Brandi Brodsky. "We are excited to invite them to this special night and encourage all teams to join us to show their Cougars spirit."
Young fans can look forward to winning Cougars hockey cards and other prizes from Hockey Yes, Tobacco No's interactive booth in Section X. The entire team will be on hand after the game to greet fans and sign autographs at the Pita Pit Autograph Zone.
In order to qualify, minor hockey teams must purchase their group tickets through the Cougars office by contacting Amy Erickson or Andy Neal at 250-561-0783. Group ticket forms are available online at www.pgcougars.com.
