Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. - The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (20-25, 5-5 2nd half) were swept by the Green Bay Bullfrogs (15-31, 3-7 2nd half) in the two-game series. After tying the game at four in the ninth, a walk-off blast from Matthew Acosta gave Green Bay the win.

Wisconsin Rapids struck first in their very first at bat. Brody Wofford (UCF) hit an absolute bomb to right field to start things. Another Rafters run crossed in the third as Jack-Thomas Wold (UNLV) delivered an RBI double to make it 2-0 Rafters after three.

The Bullfrogs scored four times in the fourth on five hits and three Rafter errors to a take a two-run lead. The cranberry and gold came back in the ninth as they loaded the bases on Eli Baez of the Frogs and Ty Duvall (Vanderbilt) came through with a two-out, two-run base hit to tie the game at four apiece. In the bottom of the frame, Esteban Cardoza-Oquendo was hit by a pitch and Matthew Acosta blasted the two-run shot to walk it off. It is the third walk-off loss of the season for Wisconsin Rapids.

Hunter Robichaux (0-1, 3.46 ERA) suffered the loss by giving up the walk-off home run. David Toth (1-3, 4.05 ERA) was given the win as he finished the top of the ninth after Eli Baez was pulled with the bases loaded in the ninth.

The Rafters start their final series with the Kenosha Kingfish tomorrow night at Simmons Field. First pitch from Kenosha is 6:05 pm CT.
