Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. - The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (27-31, 12-11 2nd half) play their final game against the Rockford Rivets (25-33, 7-17 2nd half) this evening. The Rafters currently lead the season series 4-3 and look to win the 2018 series against the Rivets. Wisconsin Rapids is two and a half games out of first in the second half South Division and a game out of fourth overall in the South.

Last night, the Rafters took a 2-2 tie to the twelfth against Rockford. The Rivets' Kian O'Brien took a 1-1 pitch yard to left to walk it off. Wisconsin Rapids suffered their fifth walk-off loss of the season.

Tonight, Winston Allen will take the hill for the Rafters. Allen is making his Rafters debut after he signed on with Wisconsin Rapids on Sunday. In his freshman season with the University of Delaware, Allen went 2-0 with a 5.30 ERA. The Morristown, NJ native struck out 12 and walked nine in 18.2 innings across six bullpen appearances and two starts.

JT Baksha (1-1, 6.98 ERA) will start for the Rivets. This will be Baksha's first start of the season. In 28.1 relief innings, the lefty junior out of Western Illinois has allowed 23 runs on 33 hits with 17 strikeouts and 13 walks.

First pitch from Rivets Stadium is 6:35 pm CT.
