[ RIO RANCHO, N.M.]-Qwest and the Scorpions congratulate Mary McMilan and George Parascandola as the two winners of the Qwest Ultimate Fan Experience sweepstakes. On March 22nd when the Scorpions host Amarillo , Mary and George will be treated to a night they will never forget.
The winners each receive two tickets to sit in the "ice box" when the Scorpions take Saturday night at the Santa Ana Star Center. Qwest will also throw in two hats and two t-shirts for each winner.
During intermission, the ultimate fans will be brought onto the ice and recognized in front of the Santa Ana Star Center crowd. The fun does not stop on game night.
In the following weeks, the contest winners will get to have lunch with head coach Randy Murphy. Enjoy eating and talking about hockey with the Scorpions bench boss. Coach Murphy will be more than happy to answer all the questions about the team as well as anything involving hockey.
The final regular season home game is Saturday, March 22nd with Amarillo visiting the Santa Ana Star Center. It will be "Fan Appreciation Night" with a chance to win $10,000 in cash, airline tickets or a beautiful safe filled with prizes.
Following the game, the Scorpions will action off their season worn red jerseys. Get your hands on this rare piece of Scorps memorabilia. All proceeds from the auction will benefit youth hockey.
