Eddie Lantigua was 3-5 with a homerun and three RBI as the Quebec les Capitales beat-up the Jackals 10-3.

It was the Jackals second home loss of the season. The Jackals pitching staff could not fool les Capitales hitters as Quebec pounded 16 hits. Quebec struck first in the top of the third off of Jackals starting pitcher Chris Clark (0-1) on four hits, capped by Carlos Rodriguez's two-run homerun to right center. Clark would only last four innings, allowing five runs on eight hits and a walk.

Quebec starter Jason Cly (1-1), was strong early, allowing only one hit over the first six innings. The Jackals would get on the scoreboard in the sixth as Darren Blakely hit a two-run homerun to center, his fourth of the season. Both runs were unearned as the preceding batter, Cedrick Harris, reached on an error by centerfielder Rodriguez. The Jackals would score there third and final run in the seventh as Travis Bailey scored on a Cly wild pitch. Cly pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run on four hits, striking out four.

Quebec second baseman Benoit Emond went 4-5 with a run and a RBI, and Mark Burnett was 3-5 with two runs scored. With the victory Quebec improves to 9-12 and New Jersey drops to 13-7.
