PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND- Frankie Simonelli scored in the first, with helpers from Anthony Camara and Colton Hargrove. Tommy Cross scored to tie it up with 40 seconds left in the third period to force the 3 vs. 3 overtime. Score remained tied at 2 after 5 minutes of overtime despite two consecutive PBruins penalties turning it into 3 vs. 5 hockey. Austin Czarnik scored for Providence in the shootout and Malcolm Subban made three big saves to guarantee the win.
