Bears Add Two from Washington, Release Five

HERSHEY, Pa. - The Hershey Bears announced today a series of updates to the club's training camp roster. The announcement was made by Bears president/general manager Doug Yingst.

Forward Zach Sill, following his clearing of waivers, has been reassigned to the Bears from Washington. Defenseman Connor Carrick was also reassigned to the Bears.

In separate transactions, defensemen Nick D'Agostino, Nick Jones and Joey Leach were released from their camp tryouts and will report to the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays. Forwards Miles Koules and Cole Wilson were also released from Hershey's camp.

The Bears' roster is at 23 players, and stands as follows:

GOALTENDERS (3): Dan Ellis, Taran Kozun, Vitek Vanecek

DEFENSEMEN (7): Madison Bowey, Erik Burgdoerfer, Connor Carrick, Christian Djoos, Mike Moore, Bobby Shea, Tyler Lewington

FORWARDS (13): Riley Barber, Chris Bourque, Travis Boyd, Carter Camper, Paul Carey, Austin Fyten, Dustin Gazley, Caleb Herbert, Garrett Mitchell, Maxime Sauve, Zach Sill, Jakub Vrana, Nathan Walker

The Bears will host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins tonight at 7:00 PM in Hershey's pre-season finale. Individual tickets may be purchased at the GIANT Center box office, by calling (717) 508-BEAR or online at TicketMaster.com. Tickets are $12.00 each for general admission and parking at the complex is free.
