Coyotes Sign Corey Potter, Assign to Falcons

Springfield, MA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed defenseman Corey Potter to a one-year, two-way contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. Potter has been assigned to the Springfield Falcons.

The 31-year-old Potter appeared in six games with the Calgary Flames in 2014-15. The 6-foot-3, 206-pound native of Lansing, MI also registered 10 assists and a plus-10 rating in 25 games with the Adirondack Flames.

Potter has collected 28-122-150 and 333 PIM in 352 career AHL games with the Hartford Wolf Pack, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Oklahoma City Barons, and Adirondack Flames. He was originally drafted by the Rangers in the fourth round (122nd overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
