Promotion-Packed "Blackout" Weekend for Mallards
November 24, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL)
Quad City Mallards News Release
MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards will return home for three games this weekend, beginning when the Mallards celebrate Black Friday by wearing special edition blackout jerseys during their game against the Kalamazoo Wings on Friday evening and again during their clash with the Cincinnati Cyclones Saturday night before auctioning those jerseys after Saturday's contest to benefit Genesis Health Services Foundation. Both of those games face off at 7:05 p.m. before the Mallards wrap up a busy weekend by hosting the Indy Fuel Sunday at 4:05 p.m.
The blackout jerseys are just the latest unique sweater the Mallards will wear to benefit the Genesis Health Services Foundation. Over the last two decades, Mallards jersey auctions have raised over $800,000 to benefit Genesis Health System charities. Saturday night's event is the first of two Genesis postgame jersey auctions this season for the Mallards.
Friday also brings the return of $1 Dog/$1 Beer Night presented by 97X. Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $1 beers at all Mallards Friday night home games throughout the season.
Friday is also another MetroLINK College Night. The Mallards have partnered with Metro to provide transit service between Augustana College and downtown Moline during Friday home games. As part of Metro's unlimited ride program, Augustana riders can use their Augustana ID as their fare.
Skate with the Mallards presented by B100 will follow Sunday's game. Fans can join the Mallards on the ice after all Sunday home games this season courtesy of B100.
Single game tickets for all Mallards regular season home games- including this weekend's games- are on sale now at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000.
