ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Tuesday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Wichita's Peckham fined, suspended

Wichita's Theo Peckham has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #199, Missouri at Wichita, on Nov. 21.

Peckham was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for cross checking under Rule #59.5 at 20:00 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Peckham will miss Wichita's games vs. Indy (Nov. 25) and at Tulsa (Nov. 27).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Manchester's Paquette fined, suspended

Manchester's Danick Paquette has been suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #212, Norfolk at Manchester, on Nov. 22.

Paquette is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline for an unpenalized elbowing infraction at 5:30 of the second period.

Paquette will miss Manchester's games at Atlanta (Nov. 24 and Nov. 26), at Norfolk (Nov. 27 and Nov. 28) and vs. Reading (Dec. 4).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
