Prince Albert Rally Halts ICE Streak

The Winnipeg ICE saw their 13 game winning streak at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena come to end Sunday night as the Prince Albert Raiders scored four unanswered goals to earn a 4-3 overtime victory.

Sloan Stanick's unassisted goal at 3:03 of the extra session completed the comeback for Prince Albert, who also got goals from Evan Herman, Reece Vitelli and Landon Kosior.

Matthew Savoie opened the scoring in the first period for the ICE with his 13th of the season.

Conor Geekie's seventh and Mikey Milne's 17th were the other goals as Winnipeg's record is now 21-1-1-0.

The ICE outshot the Raiders 36-24. Tikhon Chaika picked up his second win of the season in goal, while Daniel Hauser suffered the loss. Hauser's record is now 10-0-1 this year.
