Tonight... The Blades open up their biennial BC Division road trip in Prince George against the Cougars. Saskatoon is coming off a loss on Wednesday night at home to Lethbridge that ended a 4-game win streak. Meanwhile, the Cougars are wrapping up a 5-game home stand and looking to build off a win last night over Regina and trying to leap frog over Victoria for 2nd in the BC Division.

The last game... Tristen Robins (3) scored the lone goal in a 3-1 loss on Wednesday to Lethbridge. Kyle Crnkovic registered his 1st career assist, Kristian Roykas-Marthinsen had the second helper, his 2nd in as many games. Nolan Maier stopped 25/27 shots in the loss in what was his 6th straight start.

In Prince George on Friday, the Cougars got goals from 5 different scorers; Jackson Leppard (5), Joel Lakusta (4), Josh Maser (7), Ethan Browne (5), and Josh Curtis (6) in a 5-3 win over the Regina Pats. Isiah DiLaura went 30/33 in goal to pick up his 4th win of the season.

Road Warriors... The Blades have played 13 of 24 games this season on the road and after this trip will have played 18 of 29 away from home. Saskatoon has 8 of their 14 wins on the road.

Head to Head...The Blades took the only meeting of last season with the Cougars, a 4-3 shootout win in which Chase Wouters had 2 assists... Kirby Dach and Josh Paterson scored in the shootout.

Who's hot... Nolan Maier has won 4 of his last 5 starts, and in those 5 start boasts a stat line of: .944SV% - 1.80GAA - 4-1-0-0. Kirby Dach saw a 6-game point streak come to an end on Wednesday... it was just the 6th time this season he's been held off the scoresheet. Still, the Blades leading scorer has 3G-9A in his last 7 outings. Eric Florchukhas 2G-2A in his last 3 games.
