Kent, WA - The Calgary Hitmen improved to 4-1 on their season high seven game road trip with a 5-2 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds on Friday night at ShoWare Center.
Mark Kastelic and Luke Coleman both scored twice for the visitors who built period leads of 2-0 and 3-1. Carson Focht supplied the other Hitmen marker on a night where goaltender Carl Stankowski returned to Seattle to make 24 saves against his former team.
The Hitmen penalty killers played a huge role killing all seven shorthanded situations including a 5-on-3 for 1:31.

Matthew Wedman and Zack Andrusiak scored for Seattle.
Calgary is back on the ice tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 24 in Kennewick to face former teammate Dom Schmiemann and the Tri-City Americans. The road trip swing will then conclude in Red Deer on Nov. 30.
The Hitmen won't be back in the Scotiabank Saddledome until Saturday, Dec. 1 when they host the Edmonton Oil Kings.
