Rebels Score Late to Edge ICE 3-2

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE surrendered a late third period goal in what turned out to be a 3-2 loss to the Red Deer Rebels at Western Financial Place on Friday night.

ICE forward Cam Hausinger was a standout in the game, collecting two goals. In addition, Holden Kodak picked up an assist on the second ICE goal of the game, which extended his point streak to three games. ICE goaltender Jesse Makaj made 26 saves in the loss.

Rebels' forward Brandon Hagel scored the game-winner with 50 seconds remains in regulation time. Rebels' goaltender Ethan Anders blocked 27 shots in the win.
