Americans vs Rockets
Friday, October 20 | Kennewick, WA | Toyota Center
Start Time: 7:05 p.m. PDT
The Americans and Rockets will meet tonight for the first time in their five-game season series.
Tri-City was 1-2-0-1 against the Rockets last season. Their lone victory over Kelowna came on December 3 at the Toyota Center.
Both teams come into tonight's matchup off weekday wins. The Americans defeated Wenatchee 2-1 at home on Wednesday, and the Rockets defeated Swift Current 6-3 at home on Tuesday.
Max Curran opened scoring for the Ams on Wednesday with his first WHL goal. Deagan McMillan followed with Tri-City's second goal. He is the first Ams player to record multiple game-winning goals this season. Lukas Matecha played the full game in net for Tri-City and turned aside 28 of 29 shots.
