Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants have acquired 2003-born defenceman Wyatt Wilson (Swift Current, SK) from the Edmonton Oil Kings in exchange for 2003-born forward Skyler Bruce.

"Wyatt is a hard-nosed defenceman who will add grit to our lineup and make us harder to play against," Giants General Manager Braclay Parneta said.

Wilson split last season between the Victoria Royals and Winnipeg ICE. In 24 games games, he produced seven points (7A) and a +4 rating.

The 6-foot-3, 208 lb. blueliner has skated in 75 career regular season games with Victoria and Winnipeg, registering 18 career points (3G-15A).

The Giants thank Skyler for his contributions to the team over the last 10 months and wish him well with the Oil Kings.
