Bloomington PrairieThunder News Release
The Bloomington PrairieThunder head into their fourth weekend of Central Hockey League action with a record of 4-1-0; currently tied for second place with eight points in the CHL's Turner (Northern) Conference. Bloomington is 3-1 at home after splitting games this past weekend. On Friday night, the PrairieThunder defeated Evansville 4-2 and on Saturday night, Dayton handed the PThunder their first loss of the year by the same 4-2 margin.
Bloomington is on the road for two games this week and the team doesn't return to home ice until November 17th. This week, it's off to Fort Wayne on Friday night (November 5th) and Quad City on Saturday evening (November 6th) for the first meeting of the year against both teams.

It's the first meeting of the year vs. the Komets. Fort Wayne begins the week with a record of 1-2-1. Veteran Guy Dupuis and P.C. Drouin lead the Komets in scoring with three points each (1 goal and 2 assists). Last season, Fort Wayne won the season series 9 games to 3.
Saturday, November 10th @ 7:05pm: PrairieThunder AT Quad City Mallards

The Mallards come into the week with a record of 3-3-0. After splitting two games in the pre-season, Saturday's game is the first meeting of the regular season between the two in-state rivals. Last year, Quad City won the season series 10 games to 7 and the Mallards were 9-0 in Moline against the PrairieThunder. Former Bloomington forward Zac Pearson leads Quad City in scoring with 7 goals and 3 assists for 10 points. He's currently tied for sixth in scoring in the Central Hockey League.

Rookie forward Jason Dale leads all Bloomington scorers with 8 points (3 goals & 5 assists). Dale, along with veteran John Snowden, are the leading goal scorers with three apiece. Jason Dale has been an early season surprise for Head Coach Jason Christie. The native of Pickering, Ontario is just one point shy of besting his entire point total; from 2009-10 when he scored 3 goals & 6 assists while splitting time with the Utah Grizzlies & Bakersfield Condors in the ECHL.

On Wednesday (November 3rd) from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, PrairieThunder players will be serving dinner at Home Sweet Home Ministries, located at 303 East Oakland Avenue in Bloomington.....This Saturday (November 6th), join members of the PrairieThunder staff, our mascot Chip, and members of our Fox & Hounds Foxy Ladies at the Four Seasons Family Fitness & Recreation Center for their annual "Family Day" from 1pm to 4pm. The Four Seasons Fitness & Recreation Center is located at 904 Four Seasons Road in Bloomington.

Bloomington PrairieThunder single game tickets are on sale at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum Box Office. Tickets are on sale at the Coliseum Box Office Monday through Friday from 11am to 5:30pm and on weekends when there are events in the Coliseum.
