Rio Grande Valley's Juliano Pagliero Named Oakley CHL Goaltender of the Week

TEMPE, AZ (November 2, 2010) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Rio Grande Valley's Juliano Pagliero has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the period ending October 31, 2010.

The former Niagara University star was outstanding last week earning points in both of his starts including a 40-save shutout performance in Mississippi versus the RiverKings on Saturday night. The Killer Bees won the game 2-0 with the first year goaltender stopping 28 shots in the second and third periods combined. On Thursday, the 6-0, 200-pound net minder made 29 saves in a 2-1 shootout loss in Bossier-Shreveport. In the overtime period, Pagliero stopped seven shots.

On the season, Pagliero has played in all but one of the Killer Bees games and is 3-1-2 on the season with a 1.95 goals against average and a .941 save percentage.
