PrairieThunder Defeats Evansville 3-2 in Overtime on Saturday Night

The Bloomington PrairieThunder completed a perfect Indiana weekend by defeating the Evansville IceMen 3-2 in overtime on Saturday night. John Snowden scored the game winner just :55 seconds into overtime. For Snowden, it was his fifth game winning goal of the year and his seventh overall.

The PrairieThunder took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission on defenseman Dustin DeGagne's first goal of the season. Evansville would rally to take a 2-1 lead before Bloomington's Jason Deleurme tied the game with his 5th goal of the year at 9:38 of the third period. Goaltender Marco Emond earned his ninth win of the year stopping 25 of 27 Evansville shots.

Bloomington's record improves to 10-6-1 with the victory while Evansville, with the overtime loss, is now 9-9-3.
